After a trip to the cinema last weekend we stopped by at our local Prezzo in the Brewery in Cheltenham.
I absolutely love Cheltenham for gluten free eating, there are so many places to choose from and you really are spoilt for choice.
Prezzo has always been a restaurant that we visit quite frequently due to their great selection of gluten and dairy free food offered on the menu. In fact this was the first gluten free restaurant I visited after I had to give up gluten and I’ve never looked back. Always great service and food.
We were seated straight away when we arrived and asked if anyone in the party needed a different menu from the norm. I haven’t visited many places that ask this so this was a refreshing change.
The meatballs on the starters part of the menu seems to of become a staple part of my diet when I come here , however due to the ingestion of pick and mix we decided to skip starters and go straight to mains. They had a few new things on the menu which my partner tried but I decided to stick to what I know and love and ordered the pasta arrabiata with added chicken. It’s one of the most simple but tastiest dishes on the menu. When it’s gluten free they substitute penne for fusilli and boy do they give good portions too! It’s also a low calorie option.
The waitress came over to check everything was okay for me twice during my meal which was comforting.
The staff here were very attentive to my needs and with the food being really delicious and coeliac accredited I don’t think you can really want for more! With the likes of gluten free pizza, pasta, salads and sides on offer there’s always something different to try.
